WHO: KAKW Univision 62 invites Latin music fans to celebrate the 5th annual “Premios Texas” awards at a pre-event concert, with exclusive performances and appearances by select Premios-nominated artists.
WHAT: The evening will feature a live music line-up of nominated artists including El Guero y Su Banda Centenario (“Mejor Artista Vocal Masculino”), Foco Rojo (“Mejor Banda de Austin”) and La Clave de Mexico (“Mejor Banda de Austin”). Making special appearances will be “Premios Texas 2009” co-host Sissi, nominee Makano (“Mejor Artista Hip-hop/Urbano” and “Mejor Artista Revelacion”) and nominee Tati (“Mejor Artista Revelacion”). The final round of the talent show “Idolo del Pueblo” will take place, with the winner earning a trip to Miami to compete on “Sabado Gigante” with Don Francisco.
