Kobe Bryant a Catholic?
I almost didn’t go to church today but as I was sitting in the last pew at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on the River Walk, who should walk in but Kobe Bryant? I’m serious. He’s a Catholic? I had no idea. Even though he was late, he got communion and he prayed afterward. The Spurs better watch out! I hope they all went to church today, too. They’re the good guys so I know they did.
I have to admit that Kobe was nice, signing autographs for little kids and although he did get to church late, it was refreshing to see him there. He had a little trainer-looking guy with him but no entourage.
See the little video I took of him with my flip camera. I’m such a dork! Of course I asked him to say hi to “Tejano Beat” but he completely ignored me. At least he didn’t push the camera away. Check it out:
